Laura Ann Webb (Pfleger), 60, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, from complications of dementia.
Born in Coral Gables, Florida, on May 21, 1965, to Barbara and Robert (Bob) Pfleger, Laura grew up surrounded by a large family in Florida, Minnesota, and New Hampshire. Laura served proudly in the United States Army as a Combat Medical Specialist in Stuttgart, Germany. Here she met Kent Webb and the two married on August 6, 1988. For over 20 years, Laura worked as a hairstylist in Lansing and was a dedicated patron of the local YMCA.
Laura was a deeply introverted person, and doctors believe her dementia symptoms began as early as her mid-forties. In her final years, she was lovingly cared for by her children, Joshua and Valerie, who walked with her through every stage of her illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kent, and her mother, Barbara. She is survived by her children, Joshua (Katie) Webb and Valerie (Aaron) Mull; her grandchildren, Josie and Maggie; her father, Robert Pfleger; and her siblings, Christine (Rick) Mordorski, Robert (Josie) Pfleger, Ken (Teri) Pfleger, and John (Caitlin) Pfleger.
Cremation has taken place, and no formal service is planned. In lieu of flowers, Laura’s family invites you to get a Slurpee and take a walk with someone you love, or to contribute to the Dementia Institute in her memory.
