Larry Joseph Croschere, 70
Passed away February 1,2026 in Muskegon Michigan at Trinity Health Muskegon. Larry was born July 25th 1955 in Grand Rapids Michigan.The oldest of four children of Arthur and Shirley Croschere.Larry attended Union High School in Grand Rapids Michigan where he was an active member of the ROTC program. His deep respect for military service led him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, A dream he had held since his youth. Though his time at the Marines was brief, due to a medical discharge,he served honorably and carried that pride with him throughout his life.
Following his military service, Larry married the love of his life Marlene in 1974. He also began long and steady career at Steelcase, where he worked for the better part of 30 years. After accepting a company offered buyout ,he channeled his work ethic over the years into various entrepreneurial endeavors from a small screen printing business to pilot cars for semi trucks across the country.
Larry lived a life marked by dedication to his family, service and pride of his country and a unwavering work ethic.
Larry was known as a hardworking family man who found joy in simple pleasures, like watching movies and cooking. He had a love for cooking, it often brought family and people together thru meals prepared with care and love. Another thing he loved was watching and mentoring his children and grand children play sports .
He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years Marlene Croschere;children Brett (Holly) Croschere, Shawn (Stephanie)Croschere and Camilla Croschere; grandchildren Kaitlin, Gabrielle,Megan,and Rebecca,Atraeyol,Sabatian,Mekhi,Adeline,and Bryson;3 great grandchildren Caleb, Paisley and Mateo. His brother Steve(Cyndee) Croschere& many cousins,nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents Arthur Croschere and Shirley Croschere( Marcus) and his brothers Robert ( Charlotte) Croschere and David Croschere Sr.
His legacy lives on thru the many lives he touched with his strength of character and devotion to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
A celebration of life with military honors will be held for him February 28th 2026 at Kingdom Embassy Covenant Church,3025 Glenside ave Muskegon Michigan from 3-7pm all family and friends are welcome to come.
