Kevin Majeski

Kevin Donald Majeski “Ski”, age 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a relentless fight with pancreatic cancer on Monday, June 21, 2021. He was born in Muskegon on July 5, 1964 to David C. Majeski and Alberta I. Parker. He was a life-long resident of the area. Kevin graduated from Mona Shores High School, class of 1983 while working a full time job. He was proud to be a welder and loved working on props. He was a fun and loving son, brother, uncle and great uncle. He always thought of others before himself and would do anything for anyone. Kevin loved to remind his nieces and nephews who their favorite uncle was and would regularly ask “Who’s your favorite?” to which they all would reply “Uncle Kevy!” He loved God’s great outdoors, kayaking, camping and being near the water. Florida was his favorite place. He had a very close bond with his brother and sister and adored his mother. He is survived by his mother, Alberta Parker; two siblings David T. Majeski and Janice DeVries; nieces and nephews Kristen (Matthew) Carefelle, David S. Majeski, Eric (Emily) DeVries, Brittny (Sean Scollan) DeVries, Julianna Majeski; beloved best friend Paul Shappee; numerous aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place.
