Katie Vaughn

Katie Sue (Chandler) Vaughn, of Galesburg, MI passed away, on the afternoon of Sunday, October 10, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. She was feisty and had character like no other and there was never a dull moment with her in your life. She loved with her entire heart. So caring and giving to those she loved. You will forever be Dads’ wife, our mom, their grandma and great grandma and all of ours best friend.

Katie is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and daughter, Lisa Garrett.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Roy Vaughn; daughters, Tamba Vaughn, Stacy (Bradley) Shephard and Nicole (Deon) Voss; sons, Ronald (Sandra) Vaughn and John Daniel; 15 beloved grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren for generations to come.

There will not be a funeral service at Katie’s request. The family may have a Celebration of Life at a later date. Friends and family will be notified of the details.
