Mrs. Karen Kay Muscato ( Knoll), passed away peacefully at the age of 79, on April 22, 2025, in Grand Rapids, MI. Born on January 18, 1946, in Muskegon, MI, Karen was a beacon of generosity, intelligence, and adventure throughout her remarkable life.
An alumnus of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, Karen dedicated her professional life to Lacks Enterprises as a Packaging Engineer Expert. Her sharp intellect and creativity left an immeasurable mark on the industry she passionately served. Beyond her career, Karen's adventurous spirit found expression in her love for travel, devotion to her church, immersing herself in a good book, and enjoying the serenity of the beach.
Above all, Karen's heart belonged to her family, who brought joy to her life. She leaves behind her husband, Randolph Muscato; her siblings, Jane Graham (widow of Louis), Loisann (Randy) Westerlund, Wendy (Kris) Ford; and was preceded in passing by her brother, Robert (survived by Pamela) Knoll.
As a loving mother, she is remembered with admiration by her children, Lynnette, Michelle, Christina, Katie, Samantha, and Malcolm. Her warm legacy continues through her grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, Jasmine, Jada, Tarriana, and her great-grandchildren, Vincent, Adrian, Aceion, and Ayvah.
Karen's life was a testament to the beauty of giving, the pursuit of knowledge, and the courage to embark on new journeys. She will be dearly missed, but her memory will forever inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
