Karen Lee Cox

Karen Cox was born September/8/1967 to Lloyd and Sharon Cox; she passed 12/25/2025 with her children William Cox and Rachel Karaba by her side. 

Karen had 4 grandchildren: Maddox Wallace, Aria Hitchins, Catori Hitchins and Elias Hitchins. She was a wonderful grandmother to them and loved playing outside and having picnics. Being a mother and grandma was something she was wonderful and natural at, she enjoyed helping in anyway she could, she would go above and beyond if her children needed it. 

Along with loving her kids she LOVED nature and animals all the neighborhood kitties knew they could come to her for love and food. You could always find Karen on a sunny day riding her bike around Marengo. She will be greatly missed by many.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents Sharon and Lloyd; brother Timothy Platek; sister Deborah Platek. 

She is survived by her daughter Rachel Karaba-Quintin Hitchins son William Cox-Racheal Nawroski,  brothers Bryan Cox; Darryl and Jimmy Platek.
