Julie Hamblin

Julie Marie Hamblin of Richland, MI went to be with Jesus on Friday February 9, 2024. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren whom she loved with everything in her.

Julie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia April of 2021. She fought with great determination and went into remission for over a year. She relapsed in June of 2023 but was purposed to fight with everything she had to beat it again. For the last nine months she did just that, giving it everything she had.

Julie was born April 29th, 1962 to Gloria and Bill Call. She met Floyd, the love of her life, at 14 and soon after started the family to whom she dedicated the rest of her 61 years.

Julie was always a hard worker, she loved her family and friends, and most of all she loved God. She supported and served New Life Victory Church for many years where she was affectionately known by her Pastor and many others as The General. She was very fluent in sarcasm and had the best one liners! She loved going on vacations with family to Florida, trips with her Aunt in Tennessee, her home, and her dog Goober. If you had the privilege, you know that to know her was to love her!

Julie was preceded in death by her Father and mother (Bill and Gloria Call), Sister (Nancy Call), Husband (Floyd Hamblin), and granddaughter (Aaliya Hamblin).

Julie is survived by her children, Joseph Hamblin, daughter Melissa Daniels, son Wayne (Charity) Hamblin, daughter Shelly (Jeremy) Dennis, and Amy (Paul) Dailey. Her, Grandchildren Marissa (Tyler) Nolan, Evan Hamblin, Kirsten (Trevor) Dendel, Bailey Hamblin, Khelsey Vandyk, Caleb Hamblin, Ethan Hamblin, and Jayden Dennis and great grand daughter, Paisley Nolan and her baby Goober.
