Julie Anne Brown, 66, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, in Grand Rapids.
Julie was born in Grand Rapids and spent her life building a home filled with love, warmth, and laughter. She worked at Norman Family Dentistry for 20 years, where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and the care she showed to both patients and coworkers.
She shared 40 years of marriage with her husband, Robert (Bob), and together they built a life centered on family, love, and shared experiences. Julie treasured time spent with those closest to her, whether it was quiet moments at home or traveling with Bob. She found joy in the simple things, watching hummingbirds, caring for her beloved Boston terriers, and being surrounded by the people she loved most.
One of Julie’s most cherished traditions was Christmas Eve, a time that perfectly reflected who she was, thoughtful, nurturing, and devoted to creating special moments for her family. Those memories will be held close and carried forward by all who shared them with her.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, John Gregory; her mother, Cecilia Gregory; and her brother, Richard Gregory.
Julie is survived by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Brown; her children, Robert (Bobby) Brown Jr. (Melanie Brown), Dylan Brown (Claudia Levick), and Dayna Mullens (Ian Mullens); her grandchildren, Lily Brown, Blake Brown, Noa Mullens, and Tyson Mullens; her brothers, John (Cheryl) Gregory and Dave (Camille) Gregory; and several nieces and nephews.
Her love, kindness, and the way she made others feel at home will live on through her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
