Julia Moody

Julia Moody, age 65, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Mike, of 31 years, and her Mother and Father. She is survived by her children, Jessica (Brandon), Stacy(Josh), and Josh; her sisters, Roseanne(Brian), Carol(Larry), and brother, John. Also surviving are her 10 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Julia attended Creston High School and sang in the school choir. She worked for Nelson Metals and worked along side of her father and brother. She also worked in the Endocrinology department at St. Marys Hospital.  Julia loved spending time with her family and was very social at her apartment complex taking it upon herself to decorate other resident's doors on their birthday. After the 9/11 attacks, Julia returned to church and was a part of the choir and many events they had over the years. Julia enjoyed yard sales and anyone would tell you she had to stop at them if she saw one. Julia survived breast cancer and the loss of a leg. She suffered many, many years with health issues and hospital stays but her faith in God was always strong. Her warm and welcoming spirit will be deeply missed.

A Memorial service has been planned for February 22nd at 2 pm at Berean Baptist Church, 1574 Coit Ave NE Grand Rapids MI 49505.
