Joseph "Joey" Etts

Joseph Andrew Etts, affectionately known as "Joey," passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 14, 2024, at the age of 43.

Born on March 16, 1981, Joey was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest. He had a deep passion for riding motorcycles, a natural talent for building, and an artistic soul. Joey had a remarkable ability to connect with others, and his love for his family and friends was as boundless as his creativity. He cherished his relationships and always made those around him feel valued and supported.

Joey was preceded in death by his mother, Lori Tyler; aunts, Terri Dewitt and Tina Case; uncle, Andy Etts; cousin, April Etts; and grandparents, Floyd and Carol Etts.

He is survived by his father, Ed Dunklee of Hastings; sisters, Pamala Thuber of Palo and Samantha Jo of Carson City; several beloved nieces and nephews; uncles, Steve Dewitt , Floyd Etts, and Steve Case of Hastings; aunts, Penney Wheeler of Battle Creek and Joyce Etts of Delton; and several cousins, along with countless family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Joey will be remembered for his kind heart, his boundless creativity, and his unwavering love for the people in his life. He left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him, and his memory will be cherished forever.

A celebration of Joey’s life will take place on Saturday, November 30th, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at VFW Post 422, 10353 Stoney Point Drive, Delton, MI.
