John Phillip Sluiter died peacefully on February 12th 2024 , surrounded by his loved ones at the age of 59.
John was born on October 14th 1964, to John Sluiter and Faylene Hall. He enjoyed making model cars, loved animals of all kinds, and cherished being with his friends and family. A self proclaimed “cowboy”, John traveled the continental U.S.A. as a young man. Touching many people's lives along the way. He was a gifted artist who drew inspiration from his early life growing up on a farm. He enjoyed country music as well as classic cars and trucks.
John is survived by his daughters Philena Nichole Snider (Joshua W. Snider) and Mariah Lynn Coburn (Georgia E. Coburn). Grandchildren William H. Snider, Isaac M. Snider, and Amara R. Coburn. Father John A. Sluiter (Ethel Sluiter). Siblings Walter Sluiter, Doreen Morrison, Marcia Wagner, Betsey Sluiter, Lavina Hudson, Margaret Sluiter, Bradley Sluiter, Ila Dauser, Lylla Yates, Angela Sunday, Phillip Wetmore, Robin Zerlaut, Coral Chupp, Shelly Chupp. Uncle Rusty Sluiter (Bonnie Sluiter).
He is preceded in death by his mother, Faylene Hall.
John will be greatly missed by many.
