John Bender

It is with great sorrow that we are announcing the passing of John Bender. John is preceded in death by his son Adam and both parents. John is survived by his wife Jamie, stepdaughter Amber (Brian), and grandchildren Trystan & Aria. The family would like to give a special note of appreciation to Lee and James for their support in some of John’s final months as well as Jim who was always willing to help when John was in need.

John worked all of his life as a painter. John was known for his love of the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, he could always be counted on for a sports statistic or two. John had a deep love for his Harley Davidson and riding motorcycles. He spent a great deal of time deer hunting and thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent in a deer blind or tree stand. John had daily jam sessions with his wife listening to various songs, most recently Nights in White Satin by the Moody Blues. He will be missed by many.
