Jeffery Anthony Pray, age 64, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2025, at his residence. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Jeff was born on April 5th, 1961.

Jeff is survived by his wife Antoinette, sister Dianne (Paul) Rini, brothers Steve (Patti) Pray, Mark (Denise) Pray. His memory will also be cherished by his stepmother Jeanne, half sisters Cindy Nedry and Sandy (Brian) McCarty as well as his many relatives and friends.

Jeff was predeceased in death by his father, Benjamin (2010) and his mother Carol (1982).

He was born in Mount Clemens, MI and grew up in Algonac, MI where he enjoyed a happy childhood living semi-country with a large yard, inground pool, and acres of woods to roam. Jeff was blessed with a large extended family and had many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who enjoyed the small town atmosphere. His extended family was close and they enjoyed each other's company often. Jeff loved hunting and fishing. He was especially fond of his annual spring walleye fishing trip with his brothers. His quick wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Jeff was a 1979 graduate of Algonac High School and a graduate of Ferris State University. Jeff also served 4 years in the United States Airforce. He spent his career as a talented welder, metal fabricator and machine builder.

Interment with full military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery 15501 Dickman Rd.
Augusta, MI at 3:00pm on August 22, 2025.
