In Loving Memory of James Charles "JC" Spencer

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of JC Spencer on February 23, 2025, who passed peacefully with family by his side.

Born on August 27, 1941, in Kirksville, Missouri, JC was the beloved child of Charles and Vera Spencer.

JC resided in Grand Rapids, Michigan with his wife Dinah, his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Dinah (Vandermark) of 62 years, and their children Molly (Matt) Vokes, Charles "Curt" (Sherryl) Spencer, Trinity (Christine) Spencer and seven grandchildren Jake, Laney, Chance, John, Savanah, Audrey and Evie. Their home was always filled with laughter, love, and the warmth of togetherness.

JC had a passion for bowling, softball, singing in the church choir, dancing with his wife and watching Detroit Lions football. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his smile, warm heart and great big hugs. He will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

The immediate family will hold a private gathering to celebrate the life of JC. Rest in peace, JC. You will be deeply missed and lovingly

remembered.
