Jacob Kirk

Jacob was called home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 19th, 2021

at the young age of 21. He was welcomed into the loving arms of his Grandparents Vernon and

Sophie Kirk, and Kathleen Gerke, along with many other family members and friends in heaven.

Jacob was born and raised in Marne, MI. He was a young man but had the heart and youthful

energy of a child. Jacob’s bear hugs raised our spirits and he happily took advantage of his gift

as he loved his family more than anything. He had a passion for video games and an

unmatched imagination that would take you to worlds unknown. Anytime that Jacob would walk

into a room, it would brighten as those who met his smile, were unable to help but smile back.

He was taken too soon and will be missed more than words can express.

Jacob graduated from Kenowa Hills High School in 2018. He worked for Competition

Engineering as a CNC operator. He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Vernon and

Christine Kirk; his siblings, Douglas (Theresa) Kirk, Kathleen Kirk (Matt Heath), and

William (Courtney) Kirk; nephews Milo and Lucas Kirk; Grandpa John Gerke; many Aunts,

Uncles, and Cousins; his best friend Michael Wood and many other friends.

A celebration of life will be held at The Marne American Legion - 1469 Arthur St. Marne, MI

49435. Sunday December 12 from 1:00-4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to

Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or The Marne American Legion Hall
