Hugh Gingrich

Hugh Arthur Gingrich, age 67, passed away on December 24th, 2023. Born on May 24th, 1956 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Hugh had an event filled life with lots of travel and residences across the country, most notably, his home in Arcadia Florida. Hugh’s interests included history, golf, a diehard University of Michigan fan, along with following the Detroit Tigers, and the Lions. He had an exceptionally kind heart, and his love for any type of animal was known to all who knew him. He had a keen sense of humor and could make all around him laugh out loud.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and William Gingrich, his grandparents Florence and Arthur Gingrich, his brother-in-law, Ricky Woodall, and his significant other Diane Horne.

He is survived by his brother Bill (Judy) Gingrich, his sisters Susan Woodall and Missy (Jim) Denny. His girlfriend Brenda Kohler. His stepdaughter Tracy McEun. His nephews, Chris (Codi) Woodall, Alec (Ashley) Knorr, and Adam Knorr. His niece Ashleigh (Matt) McCarn. Also survived by his grandnephew Ricky Woodall, and two grandnieces, Elli Woodall and Ruby Knorr.

Hugh will be missed dearly by all that knew and loved him.
