Henny (Henrietta) Jean Van Egmond

In memory of Henny Van Egmond of Wyoming Michigan, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Henny is released into the embrace of Jesus hands, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Henny's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us. 

Henny was born in the Netherlands; in the early 1950's my grandparents and the entire family came to this country to live the "American Dream". In 1963 she married Bill Van Egmond and they made a home in Wyoming, Mi. Bill and Henny were members of Lee Street CRC for many years. Henny and Bill have a daughter Lori who is married and lives in the Holland area. Henny enjoyed baking, sewing, bowling, cat collecting and watching the Detroit Tigers

She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Van Egmond She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Mike) Vanderwall and Sisters and brothers Fran (Fred) Hekstra, Elsie Pott, Ina (Brian) Matz, Tom Slendebroek and Marianne (Don) Morell.
