Halbert (Tim) Davidson

Halbert E. Davidson "Tim" age 80 passed peacefully at his home Surrounded by his family August 15th 2023.

He was born June 11th 1943 to James & Caroline "Drake" Davidson in Big Rapids, MI. He attended Big Rapids Highschool, later earning a degree in math from Ferris State College. After high school Tim joined the U.S. Armed Forces serving until 1963. He later joined the Amy National Guard from 1984-1992. He was employed by Ferris State University and retired after 35 years. He was also a member of Northwest Michigan Engine and Thresher Club, and serving on the board for many years.

Tim's greatest passion outside of his family was his love for animals. Horses being number 1. He leaves behind his beloved dog, Ginger. Tim was a traveling man. He loved traveling to various states to visit his siblings. His greatest time was time spent with family.

He is proceeded in death by his parents James and Caroline Davidson, Brothers David, John, and Gerald Davidson. Sister Julie K. Thebo, and wife of 27 years, Joyce Davidson.

Surviving are his 4 Children Tim (Beth) Davidson of Cannonsburg, MI, Selena (Harold Jr.) Lindsey of Gladwin, Ron (Amy Ouelette) Davidson of Morley, MI, Lorena “Lore " (Spike) Traynor of Big Rapids, MI. Nine Grandchildren Brittany, Morgan, and Chance Traynor, Marina Paulson and John Phaneuf, Gabrielle LeClair and Alexander Le Clair, Madilyn and Pierce Ouellette. Brothers Don (Janet) Davidson, Robert (Lee) Davidson. Sisters Carol Gillig, Barb (Mike) Weed, Gaylynn Green, Midge (Dean) Oliver.

An intimate private Service will be held with his immediate family at a later date with a celebration of life to follow.
