Gloria Waterman

Gloria J. (Coffey) Waterman, passed away at the age of 82 in Allendale, Michigan, on June 13, 2024. Born on January 15, 1942, Gloria's life was a testament to the power of faith & family.

Gloria was loved by her children, Bill & Terri (Waterman)Cross of Allendale, MI, Teresa (Waterman) Hundley of McDonough, GA, Troy Waterman of Holland, MI, and Todd & Deana (Zimmerlee ) Waterman of Bellevue, MI.

She took tremendous pride in her role as a grandmother to Jeremy & Jennifer Berens, Joseph & Erin Berens, Jordan & Amanda Berens, Anthony & Amber Hundley, Stephanie Hundley, Cassandra Hundley, Genna & Cory Worline, Kelsey & Ryan Channells, Kamron Waterman, Kolten Waterman, Else Zimmerlee, Alex Zimmerlee, Joseph Zimmerlee, and Peter Zimmerlee. Gloria was also a cherished great-grandmother to twenty great-grandchildren who were the apple of her eye.

Gloria was the beloved sister of Carol Coffey, Robert & Lavonne Coffey, Terry & Carol Coffey of Allendale, MI, and Barry & Joy Coffey of Jenison, MI.

She was an aunt and cousin to many.

Her professional life was spent at Bil-Mar/Request Foods until her well-deserved retirement.

Singing was one of Gloria's greatest joys, a talent she shared generously. Her love for church and faith was strong, passion for political matters showcased her engagement with the world around her, always striving to be informed.

Preceded in death by her loving husband, Orlyn Waterman, her parents, Rev. Carl & Madeline (Miller) Coffey, and her daughter-in-law, Frances (Wyngarden) Waterman.

Memorial Service will be held at Life Stream Church Allendale, MI on Tuesday July, 2nd 2024 @ 1 pm you may visit with the family at 11:30. Dr. Ronald Kelly will do the service. A small lunch will follow.
