Gail Sue Roth

Gail Sue (Scholten) Roth passed away peacefully, one day after her birthday on October 11, 2025, after a short bout with cancer.

Gail is survived by her husband Wolfgang Roth; grandchildren Jaron Henning, and Mackenzie VanderSloot; sister Linda (Dave) Gritter; her mother-in-law Karla (Bill) Fisher. Gail also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many other family members and friends. 

Gail was born on October 10, 1962 and lived her whole life in Grand Rapids. She loved spending time with family and friends. Gail enjoyed traveling especially to the Smoky Mountains, which was her most favorite place of all. 

In keeping with Gail's wishes, there will be no formal service. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
