As a proud graduate of Southern Local School District in Salineville, Ohio, Eric furthered his education at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and earned his master’s degree in mental health counseling from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. His educational accomplishments were reflective of his deep commitment to his vocation and his desire to make a lasting impact in the lives of those he served.
Eric was known for his kind-hearted nature and his wry sense of humor, which brought comfort and joy to those around him. An avid reader, he often encouraged others to explore the diverse world of literature, sharing his passion for books across all genres. His interests also included comics, gaming, and action figures, each a testament to his playful spirit and love for storytelling.
Eric is survived by his mother, Billie D. Weaver, his aunt, Karen (Vernon) DuBose of North Charleston, South Carolina, and his cousin, Kevin Charles Welty of Summerville, South Carolina. He is predeceased by his father, Thomas L. Weaver.
