Ellamae Barbara Bogart

In loving memory of Ellamae B. Bogart. Ellamae B. Bogart of Detroit Michigan passed away peacefully on June 18, 2021 at age 83 in nursing home located in Marshall, MI. Ellamae was born August 30, 1937 in Detroit, MI. to Mr. & Mrs. Gustav & Anna Osey of Saxony Germany/Poland. She was married to Leo R. Bogart who preceded her in death in 1992., as well as the loss of her daughter, Dina M. Bogart in 1970, her mother in 1964, and father in 1973. Ellamae worked hard most of her life from age 16 starting as a waitress in younger years, to working in a hospital for 22 years. For years she sang and played harmonica in church choir for years at St. Charles Church in Detroit. She loved to laugh, gardening, music, playing the electric keyboard, crocheting, the outdoors, and spending time with family. Her favorite saying was, never say you should could or would of , but to live life and do it. Ellamae is survived by her 2 children, Mark Bogart of Detroit MI, and Sarah French of Battle Creek MI, granddaughter Alicia Seibenick, and great granddaughter, Hayden M Grabenstein of Leonard, MI. She will be greatly missed by all who have known and loved her.
