Doris Ann Vasquez, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, departed this world on July 14, 2025, in Battle Creek, Michigan. Born on April 24, 1956, in Marshall, Michigan, Doris’s life was a testament to her deep faith and unwavering love for her family.
Throughout her life, Doris was known for her kind spirit and her devoted commitment to God and her loved ones. Her joyful presence touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Doris was a guiding light, always putting the needs of her family above her own and nurturing the bonds that united them.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Arthur Vasquez, and her cherished children: Lena Bulstron, Arthur Jr., and Lisa.Brad Smith Doris also leaves behind an impressive legacy of 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, each of whom will carry forward the values she instilled in them.
Doris’s journey was not without its trials, as she faced the profound loss of several family members. She was predeceased by her daughter, Jammie Gogel; her son-in-law, James Bulstron; her father, James Lykins; her mother, Pearl Shear; her brother, Paul Lykins; and her sister, Patty Caskey. These loved ones hold a special place in the hearts of those she has left behind and will forever be remembered alongside her.
Doris Ann Vasquez will be deeply missed, yet her love and spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her. As we reflect on her life, we celebrate the extraordinary woman she was and the enduring impact she made on all our lives.
