Doris Margaret Soper

Doris Margaret Soper, age 93, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on March 6th, 2021. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and cherished her family dearly. She retired from AT&T after 43 years of dedicated service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde & Martha (Haidysh) Hudson, her brother, Clyde Hudson, her sister's Theresa Dunham, Virginia Somerdyke and Cloah Devine. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Lloyd Soper of 72 years; children, Scott (Krista) Soper and their children, Scott Jr. (fiancé Dr. Suh Lim), Robert (Danielle) Soper, Daniel Soper; Shelly (Ted) Corson and their children Tyler (Stacey) Corson, Courtney (Micah) Hart; great grandchildren, Breslyn and Bobby Soper and Caden Corson. Also surviving is her brother Ray (Mary) Hudson, sisters, Margie (Bob) Jackson, Joan (Ron) VanNoord, and brother-in-law, Russ Dunham. The family wishes to thank all the caregivers of Your Life Caregiving for the amazing support they provided. A celebration to honor Doris's life will be held later in the spring.
