Donn Miles

Donn Samuel Miles, age 69 of Coral, passed away, Wednesday, August 11,2021 at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids surrounded by his wife, Bonnie and family. He was born April 3,1952 in Lakeview the son of Samuel and Jean Miles. Donn and Bonnie were married on May 21,2004 and have enjoyed 17 years together. Donn worked at Michigan Chair in Howard City where he was a custom wood bender for several years before retiring. He had also worked for Olsen Knife co, Donn Love to make knife's. Donn loved to take "Buggy" (side by side) rides where he may have partaken in a bud light beverage (or two) and a Marlboro Cigarette. When the buggy ride was over he would enjoy coming home and having a bon fire in the back yard. Donn was a avid lover of cop shows and you had better believe that your silence was golden when he was watching his TV! Donn was an animal lover with 5 dogs and 3 Cats to keep him busy. Donn is survived by his beloved wife Bonnie: children Brian ( Alison) Miles, Angie (Kevin) Miles, Travis (Hope) Niswonger, Joey Miles, Ethan Miles, non biological son Joe (Angel) Fairbrother. 9 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren. Siblings Sharon (Herald) Proctor, Ed Miles, Keith Miles, Cindy Puff Miles. Sister-in-law Betty (Don) Niswonger. Two amazing friends, Al Patterson and James Workman. Several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Sandy Wright, two brothers, Randy Miles, Zachery Miles and Granddaughter, Mylie Jade Niswonger. Donn had a philosophy that "If you can't come see me when I'm alive then don't come see me when I'm dead". In honoring his beliefs the family will not be having a service.
