Dennis Krynicki

Dennis "Denny" Krynicki, 82, of Coopersville, Michigan, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026, after a beautifully lived life. He leaves a beautiful, loving legacy of 57 years of marriage to his devoted wife, Diane. He was a pillar of strength for his two children (Denise and Doug May and Denny and Michelle Krynicki) and a proud, adoring "Grampy" to his four grandchildren (Brendan, Gabrielle, Emma, and Jaiden), all of whom will carry his warmth and wisdom forward. 

Denny is reunited in peace with his mother (Eleanor Scianni), father (Chester Krynicki), stepfather (William Scianni), parents-in-law (Harold and Veronica Owen), and his beloved sister, Shirley, who preceded him in death. His presence will be deeply missed, but his gentle intelligence, kind soul, and the practical wisdom he shared so freely will live on in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

His legacy is woven with hard work, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to his family. Born on May 22, 1944, Denny spent his youth on the Southside of Chicago. It was there, among the vibrant city neighborhoods, that he mastered the fine art of being playfully engaged in just enough trouble and a whole lot of fun. A graduate of George Washington High School, Denny could often be found in the gym scoring points for the Minutemen. Those early years gifted him a sharp wit and a resilient spirit that defined him for the rest of his days. Denny channeled his drive and intellect into a successful career as a telecommunications professional. Never one to rest on his laurels, he eventually channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into starting his own business. While he was highly respected in his industry, his true gift was his passion for helping others. He was a master handyman, skillfully trained by the finest teacher of all: trial and error. If something was broken, Denny wouldn't just fix it—he would use it as an opportunity to quietly show up for someone else. Those who knew Denny knew exactly where to find him. He might be locked in a competitive morning card match, listening to some tunes, or roaming the aisles of his favorite home improvement stores, most notably Menards. He was a true lover of nature who found peace in the simple pleasures of the outdoors—whether he was fishing, gardening, cutting wood, or burning brush. Denny spent many years maintaining the beautiful landscape at Moss Ridge Golf Course. His support of his children and grandchildren in performances on the stage or athletic field was marked by curiosity and reflection.

The family has chosen a private celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan.
