Dawn Preston

Dawn Marie Preston passed away on May 26th, 2026, at the age of 70. Born in Grand Rapids, MI on August 8th, 1955.

Over the years she built a life centered on family and friends. Dawn was known for driving truck for Dykema Excavating. She loved to go camping and fishing but mostly spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her husband Jerome Franklin Preston, Daughter Lonni Shepard (Benjamin Shepard), two sisters Toni Stoner (Joe Stoner), Teri Ringler, grandchildren Saige Shepard, May Shepard, Randi Shepard, Colten Anderson, and Wyatte Anderson and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather on July 11th, 2026, to celebrate Dawn's life at the Bow Tie from 4-7 pm.
