David Vandrunen

David (Dave) Michael VanDrunen Jr, 48, passed peacefully on Feb. 25, 2020, surrounded by his family and loved ones after fighting a courageous 10 year battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his father, David VanDrunen Sr. He is lovingly remembered and survived by the love of his life, Bonnie May (Straub) VanDrunen, Daughter, Toree Gribble, Sons, Chaz VanDrunen, Hunter VanDrunen, and Braden VanDrunen, 8 grandchildren, his mother, Cherry Lawrence, his siblings, many nieces and nephews, and a host of lifelong friends. Dave's personality was as big as his heart. He touched the lives of everyone he came into contact with. His smile, contagious laughter, sense of humor, honor, generosity, love for all things outdoors, and above all else his unwavering love for his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends will live on in the hearts and minds of those who were blessed to know him. His family, in honoring his wishes, will not be holding any funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations to assist in covering the costs associated with cremation and expenses can be made to the family to help cover the costs. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, yet to be determined.
