David served his country with honor and distinction, proudly enlisting in three branches of the United States military: the Army, Air Force, and Navy. His commitment to service exemplified his deep sense of duty and patriotism, values that he carried throughout his life.
Following his military career, David worked diligently in a factory, where his steady work ethic and reliability were greatly respected by his colleagues. Beyond his professional accomplishments, David was a man who treasured the simple joys of life. He loved to fish and camp, often finding solace and happiness in nature’s embrace. These pastimes reflected his patient and thoughtful personality, and they afforded him moments of peace and contentment.
David was a beloved father to five children. He is survived by his daughters Karen McDonald, Carolyn McDonald, and Shannon Baisch, and his son Patrick McDonald. They remember him not only as a parent but as a source of wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love. David was also the father of Mark McDonald, who preceded him in death.
His roots ran deep, being the son of Carolyn Squires and Alexander McDonald, both of whom have also passed on. Their memory lives on through David and the family he so dearly cherished.
