David Alston Charles Whitford

David Alston Charles Whitford 58, born June 11, 1966 in Selma, Alabama, left this world March 28, 2025 after having a stroke. He will always be remembered for his great wit and intelligence. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David was preceded in Heaven by his sister Marnie and nephew Ethan. He is survived by David Wade Whitford, father. Klara Hewitt, mother. Melyssa Besbrode, sister, and her Husband Geoffrey. Bryon Cashin, brother, and his wife Kara. Christian Dukes, sister, and her husband Damon. Nieces and nephews Brody, Ellie, Elyse, Emma, Jake, Jeffrey, Kilian, and Lexi.

Go to your father in heaven David, as a moth to the flame and wait for us to be reunited as a family gathered in his arms.
