Darla Kathleen Phoenix

Darla  Phoenix, of Battle Creek, was born on August 26, 1939 in Reed City, MI.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Phoenix, and her daughter, Cheryl Campbell. She leaves behind her daughter, Caren Ray (Larry); her grandchildren, Ryan Ray (Sara), Daren Ray (Kristin), Lauren Ray (Matt), and Corrie Farrell (Josiah); and seven great-grandchildren.

Darla had a love for shopping and traveling, enjoying the experiences and adventures life had to offer. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved Shih Tzu dogs and her Himalayan cat, Neko, who brought her companionship and joy.

She will be remembered by her family for the memories they shared, the moments that made her who she was, and the lasting place she will always hold in their hearts.

She was cremated, and in keeping with her wishes there will be no formal services. She will instead will be remembered privately. The family would like to thank the staff of Reflections Memory Care and Centrica Hospice for their care and support.
