Daniel Donald Langlois

May 12, 1950 — March 8, 2021

Daniel was one of six sons born to Harry Lincoln and Margaret Elizabeth Langlois (Benkert) in Nunica, MI. He attended Coopersville Area Public Schools. After graduation he was employed for over 30 years at Leigh Products/Milcor where he worked as a spray painter and a shop supervisor for many years. Dan loved fishing, hunting, and archery. In the years before his health declined, he participated in many archery competitions throughout the State. He also enjoyed many family vacations that were spent camping and at Big Bass Lake in Irons, MI. In 2002 he took a medical retirement after finding he needed both heart and lung transplants. He never lost faith in his Lord and accepted life as it was given to him. Daniel fought the fight with courage and faith and passed away after 19 years of severe heart and pulmonary problems. Daniel is reunited in heaven with his parents; his infant daughter, Jessi Sue; his brother, Art and his wife, Madeline; brothers, Gary and Harry; his father-in-law, Ralph Langley, brother-in-law and his son, Mark and Brian Langley and his brother-in-law, Cameron Kooy. Daniel is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patti (Langley), his children, Jon (Devrae)and their family, Jeremy (Rachel) and their family, Jason and his daughter, and Jennifer(DJ). He is also survived by his brothers, Mark (Sandra) and Tony; his mother-in-law, Audrey Langley; sister-in-law’s, Carol Langlois, Teresa Kooy, Nancy Langley Gwin (Herb), Cindy Schmidt, Cathy Headley (Peter); brother-in-law, Michael Langley (Jacqueline) many nieces, nephews, and cousins; one uncle, Ron Barkel, and two daughters of the heart, Becky Allen and Tracey Davis. The family is grateful and thankful the years of kindness and service provided by Dr. Roger Holman and his staff at Coopersville Randall Street Medical, Dr. John Nicklas, cardiac care specialist at the University of Michigan and Dr. Marc Peters-Golden, pulmonary care specialist at the University of Michigan. In accordance with Dan's wishes cremation has taken place. Interment will be in Grand Haven Township, Lakeshore Cemetery. No service is planned at this time.
