Damaris Speer

Damaris (Misty) Mae Symington (Speer), age 77, passed away on Sunday, January 24th, 2021, in Lamont, MI. After surviving Covid-19, her battle with Dementia wasn’t as easy. Misty was born in Douglas, MI on October 10, 1943. She grew up in Fennville, MI. Misty was the most loving, caring and happiest woman in the world. She loved all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the president of the Resident Council for many years. People remember her for welcoming smile and warm Hello. Misty made an effort to say HI to everyone during the day. She was an avid Bingo player. Misty is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, James Symington. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kelly (Bradley) Pinkham (Speer), Bobijane Meadows (Speer), Shawn Speer, Earl Speer Jr., and Chad Speer; brother, Charles Symington; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
