Constance B Freds

Constance "Connie" B. Freds, 81, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, May 21st, 2026. Connie was born on February 23, 1945 to William Miller and Mary Ella Purcell in Battle Creek, Mi. She graduated from the Millerstone building in Battle Creek, Mi. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Rick and continued to love and be devoted to him for the rest of her days. Nothing meant more to her than her title as "Mom" and "Granny". She was a life long lover of Mickey Mouse, Elvis Presley, playing Solitaire, and more.

 Connie is survived by her children, Katherine Parnell, Kerry Freds, and Kim (Merle) Boblet, and son at heart, Richard; and grandchildren, Dustin Pierce, Ashlee (Benjamin) Hinkle, Danielle Freds, Jeffrey, Nathan, Taylor, Kasey Hodgkinson, Sam Sprague, Breana Rose, Christina; four great-grandchildren, Rylen, Aidrik, Kaylin and Landyn. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen (Freds) Hodgkinson, both parents, brothers William and Lawrence, two sisters Ethel and Arvella, and Ex-Husband Gary Freds. 

In accordance with Connie's wishes, no open service will be held. She wished to be cremated and laid to rest with her family.

 Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. 🖤
