Christine Ruhl

Christine Gale Ruhl (Standish), age 62, of Portage passed away February 2nd, 2024. Christine was preceded in death by her father Phillip Standish. She is survived by her mother Mary Vanderweele, her siblings Kathi Clark, Al Standish, and Scott Standish, her daughters Stacey Yearry and Irene Yearry (Monte), and her grandchildrenher step daughter, Heather and grandkids Selena, Daniel, Jacinto, Noah, and Nakiah, Natalie, Jack, Landin, Liam, and Brantley. Christine grew up in Portage where she graduated from Portage Central High School in 1979. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends, attending arts and craft shows, twining rugs, camping, and traveling. Christine made friends wherever she went and always made everyone feel welcomed. Our family is grateful to know that Christine is finally at peace. A Celebration of Life will be held sometime this Spring or Summer, all are welcome.
