Cheryl "Sheri" Price, cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2024, at the age of 76 in Kalamazoo. Born on February 19, 1948, in Battle Creek, Sheri's warm presence and infectious smile were gifts to all who knew her.

Sheri's early life was rooted in the community of Battle Creek. An alumna of Delton schools, she completed her education by graduating from Lakeview schools in 1966, a testament to her commitment and resilience. With her education as a firm foundation, Sheri embarked on a professional journey that showcased her versatility and work ethic. Her career path included roles as a banker, a dedicated employee at Chicago Title, and providing exceptional service at both Burger King and Meijers. Her professional life was marked by the same warmth and dedication she carried in all facets of life.

Outside the workplace, Sheri was a beacon of joy, always ready with a story or a vivid memory to share, whether her audience expected it or not. Her love for taking trips down memory lane was more than a hobby—it was her way of connecting with others and celebrating the beauty of the past. She is survived by a family who adored her deeply. Her son, James Price of Battle Creek, and her daughter-in-law, Kristie Hall, will remember her as a guiding light in their lives. Her granddaughter, Kaylynn Price, will miss her grandmother's stories and the special moments they shared. Sheri's daughter, Katherine Price, also of Battle Creek, will carry her mother's legacy of love and optimism in her heart. Her granddaughters, Marissa Smith, Lacey Smith, and Ashley Smith, will each hold onto the individual and unique love Sheri had for them.
