Brian Steenbergen

Brian J. Steenbergen, 63, passed away unexpectedly on October 30th at his Grand Rapids home. He is now in the presence of the Lord and Savior whom he loved and served. Brian was predeceased by his parents, Jonn and Pat Steenbergen. He is survived by his sister, Barbara and her husband, Ken Dickard, from Galveston, Texas. Brian was four days away from retiring from the financial department of Meijer INC. He was a dedicated servant in his church, enjoyed nature hikes with his camera, loved travel, especially to Springfield IL, where he could indulge in all things Lincoln on whom he was an expert, he appreciated classical music and often attended fine concerts.

There will be a celebration of Brian's life on Thursday, December 5 at 1 o'clock at Alger Park Christian Reformed Church, 2655 Eastern Avenue SE, Grand Rapids, MI. Phone: (616) 452-9686. The service will be live streamed and can be accessed by clicking on the button below. The memorial service will start at 1pm and the live stream will start shortly before the service begins. Family, friends, and coworkers are invited to wear a bowtie in honor of Brian and stay for a time of refreshments and sharing memories following the service.
