Brian Curtis Shepard, age 63, of Dorr, MI, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior on June 30, 2026. He was preceded in death by his son, Kurtis Shepard; his daughter, Angela Shepard; his parents, Richard and Barbara Shepard; and his brother, Steve Shepard.

Brian dedicated 25 years to Steelcase, where he was known as a hardworking, dependable, and well-respected employee. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Later in life, health challenges limited his activities, yet he found real joy in ice cream trips with his grandkids and spoiling them every chance he got. Brian was the best dad — loving, devoted, and always putting his family first.

Brian will be deeply missed by his daughter, Meggan (Rob) Cepeda; his grandchildren, Kaedynce, Mavryck, and Hudsyn; his sister, Connie (Don) Bloem; his sister, Terri Shepard; the mother of his children, Tricia Shepard; his nieces and nephews, and his neighbor and friend, Scott Armstrong. Per his wishes, he will be cremated, and his final resting place will be with his son, Kurt. Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of life that will take place at a later date. Information regarding the date and time will be shared when it is available.
