Brian Prince

Brian Prince, born January 14, 1963 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed from this world to his forever home with Jesus on October 27, 2026 at the age of 63. The son of Ronald and Barbara, Brian graduated from high school in 1981, and spent the majority of his working career in construction, remodeling, and sales.

In 1987 Brian was united in marriage with Kim Maki, and a year later they celebrated the birth of their son, Ian. Kim preceded Brian in death in 2012.

While Brian faced his share of heartache, disappointment, and regrets, one important step he took made all the difference: as a young man he turned to Jesus Christ as his Savior and Lord, and spent the remainder of his life living out that walk of faith as best he could.

Brian also passed his love for Jesus on to his son, Ian, and the result is a rich legacy of God’s mercy, hope, and grace that will follow Brian for time and eternity.

“I am so grateful my dad chose Christ, and that, through prayer, he committed my life and future to the Lord as well,” said Ian. “That simple step of faith has profoundly impacted who I am today, and how I lead my family through faith in God.”

Brian is survived by his son, Ian, Ian’s wife, Katrina, and their children, Gideon, Katherine, and Abraham. Additionally, Brian is survived by his mother, Barbara, and her husband, Steve Dudley; brothers Brett (wife Kathy, daughter Jessica, and nephew Braiden) and Scott; uncle, Gary Lemmen; and extended family.
