Brent Gunnell

‘God’s Country Keeper’ Brent Gunnell Dies at age 61 on January 13th 2024 after a protracted illness.

He was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing and hunting, and most important to him was his cottage made home near Ralph in the heart of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

‘Cedar Camp’ was a very special place to Brent and he enjoyed many long hours in the forests, wading streams, hunting for Morels, taking photos, and generally enjoying nature.

Brent was friends with many and was always there to help his neighbors with a project or a problem.

He is survived by his two Sons Brent Gunnell II, and Chad Hutchinsen, many grandchildren, his Sister, Tammy Frandsen and many other family members.

Cremation has taken place, Brent's Celebration of life is going to be held at the Cedar Springs American Legion from 1-4pm on February 2nd 2024.
