Benjiman Ellsworth Santora, 55, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on September 18th, 2026. Born on May 24, 1971, in Battle Creek, Ben graduated from Climax High School and later married Shannon, with whom he had his beautiful daughter, Jessica. Ben then met his current wife of over 30 years, Pamela, and together they had their son, Kenneth. 

Ben worked his way up in manufacturing to become a proud pipefitter at Ralston Foods / Conagra / TreeHouse, until his retirement at the beginning of 2018. An incredibly skilled and hands-on man, Ben enjoyed playing pool, riding snowmobiles, going on guys' trips, and working in the garage. He was known for doing anything he could to help his friends and family; if he didn’t know how to do something, he would definitely figure it out, and he was never too proud to ask. Above all, Ben especially enjoyed his time with family. From teaching his children to being his grandchildren’s biggest fan, he supported them at every game, showing endless pride and love. 

Ben is survived by his loving wife, Pamela; his daughter, Jessica (Bart) Steele of Battle Creek; his son, Kenneth Santora of Battle Creek; his cherished grandchildren, Braxton and Brandalynn Steele; his sisters, Tamara Santora of Coldwater,  Renee Twiss of Coldwater;  many loving nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bonnie and Kenneth Santora, and his grandparents, Robert and Norma Cook

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life is being planned for Sunday, October 11, 2026. Specific details and finalizations will be shared by the family as they become available.
