Bellena Parker

Bellena Vicki-Eileen Parker, known affectionately as Bellena by all who knew her, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, after a challenging journey with dementia. Born on September 18, 1948, in Jackson, Michigan, to the late Clifford and Margaret Parker, Bellena's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family, her passion for music and art, and her faithful service to her ministry.

Bellena's early years in Jackson were filled with the love and laughter of a close-knit family. She graduated from Stockbridge High in 1966, a testament to her determination and commitment to her education. Bellena's thirst for knowledge and personal growth led her to Western Michigan University, where she furthered her studies. In 1999, she found a profound calling in spiritual service and completed her studies at Reunion Whole Life Ministries, an accomplishment that brought her immense joy and fulfillment.

While Bellena's professional life was diverse, she often stated that her greatest achievement and joy were her beloved son, Patric Sykes, Significant other, Lindsey Williams and her cherished family. Her love for them was boundless, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments. Bellena's legacy lives on through her son Patric and his significant other, Katie, as well as her adored grandchildren Jubriel, Mindi, Allannah, and Kyra, who brought her immeasurable happiness.

Bellena's siblings, Dianna, Dennis, and Jennie, will remember her as a loving sister who always had a word of encouragement and a heart full of compassion. She was a beacon of light in their lives, and her memory will be treasured in their hearts forever.
