Basil Bird

Basil Stephen Bird Jr passed away at 5:01 pm on May 18th at home surrounded by his loving family. He lived a long and full life with many exciting adventures and accomplishments.

His proudest accomplishment was being a father and grandfather. His proudest adventure was continuing to ride his motorcycle after receiving his LVAD and later his heart transplant.

He is proceeded in death by his mother, June Bird, and father, Basil Bird Sr. He is survived by his wife, Linda Bird, sons Timothy (Molly) Bird and Anthony (Jen) Bird as well as his three grandsons Lincoln, Brayden, and Mason. He also has 4 surviving siblings, Robert (Joyce) B‏ird, Iris Stuart, Wendy Bird, and Julie (Bill) Turpin. He is also survived by best friend Chuck Boyle who served with him in the Marines as well as Cheyanne who was dear to his heart. He had many pets throughout the years with Rex being his best buddy that proceeded him in death as well as Muffy who will continue caring for Linda after his passing.

Arrangements will be kept small and private per his wishes.
