Barbara Kay Zatalokin

Barbara Kay Zatalokin (White), lovingly known as Grammy, passed away peacefully on 9/27/2026 surrounded by the people who loved her most.

Grammy was energetic, spirited, and always up for an adventure. She had a remarkable way of making every person she was with feel like the most important person in the room—like you were, without question, her favorite. She was the kind of person who was down for anything, as long as she had time to put her lipstick and "eyebrows" on first.

She loved to read, go on bike rides, and, of course, never said no to mint chocolate chip ice cream. But more than anything, her grandchildren were her life. Some of her happiest days were spent taking them to Duck Lake, going fishing or on bike rides, playing pretend, or sharing a "goodie plate". Grammy effortlessly made memories with her children and grandchildren that they will carry with them throughout their life.

Grammy leaves behind her three children, Jennifer, Michael, and Morgan, two son-in-laws (Garrett and Joshua), and her six beloved grandchildren, Tanner, Tyler, Nevaeh, Eli, Isla, and Emile. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her energy, love, and attention into them in a way that made each of them feel uniquely cherished.

She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love of adventure, her lipstick, her laughter, and the extraordinary gift she had for making people feel loved. To her grandchildren, she was simply Grammy—and there will never be another quite like her.
