Audrey Langley of Zeeland, MI passed away on April 8th, 2025 in Holland, Michigan. She was the fifth child of seven and the last surviving child of Charles and Hazel Waldie. She was raised on the family farm and boat livery at 13384 68th Ave in Allendale, MI. She graduated from Coopersville High School in 1946. She and two girlfriends traveled to Los Angeles where she met her beloved Navy man, Ralph Langley. They married on December 31, 1948 and celebrated 59 years of marriage before Ralph passed in 2008. They started their marriage in Jerseyville, IL near Ralph's family and then moved to Coopersville, MI. They raised six children, living in the same home at 525 Main Street for over 60 years. Audrey was employed by the local telephone company, Leigh Products, Heath Manufacturing, and was then a 30 year employee as a specialty sewer for the Alpine Avenue General Motors Fisher Body trim plant. She was a proud member of UAW local #2151.
Audrey loved her family and could often be heard saying "I'm so lucky to have good kids” and how fortunate and happy she was. She is remembered for her kind, sweet demeanor. She raised her children among over 60 neighborhood kids, always kind and even tempered. She was fortunate to enjoy good health and enjoyed trips both in the United States and Internationally. She especially enjoyed being driven to luncheons with her friends; the Red Hats, the GM retirees, and the Anchor Inn/Southside gals by her favorite Uber driver Pete Headley.
