Arlyn Alderink

Arlyn Jay Alderink, age 87, of Jenison, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, November 24, 2024. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Kristina Sigrun; children, Thomas & Jean Marie Alderink, Michael & Denise Alderink; grandchildren, Amy Guyot, Sean & Ashleigh Alderink, Lindsey & Chris Armstrong, Ryan Alderink; great-grandchildren, Emily, Jordan, Alivia, Madilynn; siblings, Betty & Bob Foglesong, Mark & Betty Alderink, Norman & Maxine Alderink, Bonnie & Bill Bennett, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John & Kathryn Alderink, sister, Phyllis Kleinjans, brother-in-law, Dale Kleinjans, brother, Jim Alderink, sister-in-law, Jean Alderink. Arlyn proudly served his country in the US Army, in Berlin, Germany, where he met and fell in love with his wife. He worked for Keeler Brass until his retirement. He loved gardening and spending time with his family. There will be no funeral service per his wish. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice.
