Arline Vandermeulen

August 2, 1925 — October 30, 2021

Arline Helen VanderMeulen went home to her Lord on October 30, 2021. Arline was born in

Muskegon on August 2, 1925 to parents Jay and Ella (May) Sietsema. She graduated from

Muskegon Heights High School in 1943. She married William (Bill) VanderMeulen on February

12, 1949. Arline and Bill were members of Covenant Community Church and were members of

the TTCM (Travel Trailer Club of Michigan); with their camper, they traveled to many beautiful

parks and lakes. Arline was a volunteer at the Supper House Ministry and at the Hackley

Hospital Gift Shop. Arline enjoyed reading, playing cards, camping, golfing, and doing puzzles

and cryptograms, but her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She was

preceded in death by her husband (8-8-14) and her parents. She is survived by her two sons,

Mark (Julie) VanderMeulen and Jack (Jackie) VanderMeulen; her sister Linette Damm; her five

grandchildren, Jill (Derek) Osborne, Laura VanderMeulen-Cole, Joel (Jackie) VanderMeulen,

Jami Weller, Bryana (David) Paseka; 11 great grandchildren; and 3 nieces.

In accordance with her wishes, a private family graveside service will be held. Contributions

may be made to Covenant Community Church.
