April Judy Hallberg

April Judy Hallberg, age 84, of Irons, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 20th, 2025 at Storypoint Senior Living in Rockford, Michigan.

April was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Hallberg. She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Claudette “Cook” Weston; her brother, Donald Wills; her children Timothy Crawford and Jonathan (Ann) Hallberg; her grandchildren, Cassandra Hallberg and Connor Crawford; and her great-grandchildren Kai, Chase, Eli, and Grace Maria.

April retired from General Motors after a dedicated career. She and John settled into retirement on Big Bass Lake, where they found great joy in hosting family and creating lasting memories together. April was a vibrant woman with a gift for storytelling, always eager to share memories and lessons from her life. Her hands were rarely still-she was an avid knitter, an enthusiastic baker, and a passionate reader.

Above all, April was a devoted and energetic mother and grandmother who cherished time with her loved ones and left a lasting impression on everyone she met 

Her warmth, wisdom, and sense of humor will be deeply missed.
