Anthony Donald Glowacki

Anthony Donald “Tony” Glowacki II age 59, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI.

Tony was Born October 21, 1963 to Anthony Donald “Bob” Glowacki and Linda Leigh Glowacki.

Tony attended Mason High School, where he competed in Football, Wrestling and Track. He excelled at sports and won many awards and medals.

After Graduating in 1982, Tony attended Lansing Community College getting his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice.

He became a Corrections Officer, working at both the Cotton and Detroit prisons. Tony worked for the State of Michigan Corrections for 16 years.

Tony retired early, and in his spare time, enjoyed helping people. He mowed lawns, did yard work and other various tasks. He also enjoyed trading Sports cards and playing with his dogs, Duke and Chief. Most of Tony’s time was spent with his son, Michael, whom he loved very much.

Tony was an Outstanding Bowler, Golfer, Hunter and Fisherman.

He was extremely talented, and was born with a green thumb. Everything he grew

Flourished.

Tony had a Special way with children. They came to him and loved him for his Fun loving and gentle

Heart.

Tony loved music. Good old Rock n Roll; he liked to dance and loved a good party.

Tony was Predeceased by his Father, Anthony D. “Bob” Glowacki. Survived by his Mother, Linda L. Gray, Son, Michael Andrews, Sister, Gina Bement, Sister, Angela Dorgan (Joe), and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.

He will be sadly missed by; Mary and Bree

A Celebration of life is planned on Tony’s 60th Birthday, Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Mason VFW. 2:00-?
