Regarding the Anne and Joe Biondo family, God has been so very good to us over these past 48 hours. Miracles and His tenderness at every turn. Last night at 11:45pm Anne got the call she has been longing for. Jesus invited her home into His loving arms and an eternity of worship in His very presence. The family had gotten their precious Mom home at about 3pm, and family gathered – lots of family! A bed was set up in her living room and the 25-30 family members loved on her, laughed, cried, hugged, talked, sang, prayed, read scripture, shared photos, meals arrived out of the blue, cried some more, laughed more, prayed and worshipped our great God for His goodness to us through Anne and Joe. The Holy Spirit was present and all sensed the holy nature of the day. The family said goodbye at 9pm and took time to kiss “Mom/Grandma”, hold her hand, and tell her important things…very important things before we left. Many of the words to her were, “I love you so deeply Mom, I love you Grandma, you are a gift from the Lord, I would choose you every time, it is my great honor to be your husband/son/daughter/grandchild.” Each family member was given the gift of time by God to end this chapter of life with Anne very well. What a gift from the Lord. Anne is remembered as a passionate Christ follower, a prayer warrior, a faithful servant of Jesus, a sacrificial family matriarch, always full of faith, hope and love. She was full of joy, had a real passion for sharing the good news of Jesus with others, and such an encourager and life giver. She and her husband Joe, have been on their honeymoon for 64 years. Together they have raised six children: Rob (Virginia), Kathi (Randy), Rick (Shelley), Joanne (John), Dave (Vonda), and Steve (Chris). A celebration of Anne’s life, and a time of praise, is scheduled for April 24th, and 10am at Crossroad’s Bible Church, 800 Scribner Ave. Grand Rapids, MI 48504. To family and friends - Thanks for all your prayers and support. Your prayers, and ours, were graciously answered by our great God in the life and home going of Anne. We are humbled by His goodness and mercy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Our Daily Bread Ministries, at PO Box 2222, Grand Rapids, MI 49501.
